Seminole Tribe

Location/housing

• The Seminole Tribe is from North America; therefore, they live in Florida
• They lived in log cabins, but now they live in Chickees
• Before they lived in Chickees, they lived in regular houses
• Since the Chickees were made of wooden post, they were cool for the summer, and warm for the winter

Traveling

• The Seminole Tribe travels by canoe, because they live by the ocean.
• Rather than traveling by boat, they traveled by canoe.

Games/Entertainment

• The Seminole Tribe likes to play games, so the men made sticks for games.
• They told stories for fun, and they played games
• If they did not have a lot of entertainment, they told stories for fun.
• Because they did lots of beadwork for fun, the women usually wore beads

Religion

• The Seminole Tribe is Christian, for they worship Jesus Christ.

Food

• The Tribe ate veggies, yet they enjoyed meat.
• Even though the men hunted they weren't just meat eaters
• Although one of their favorite foods is cabbage, they still eat meat.
• Since they do not have cold winters, the y do not store food for the winter.
