Geography:
Seville is the capital and largest city of the autonomous community of Andalusia and the province of Seville, Spain. It is situated on the plain of the River Guadalquivir.
Seville has the only inland port in Spain, located 50 miles from the mouth of the Guadalquivir River. This harbour complex offers access to the Atlantic and the Mediterranean, and allows trade of goods between the south of Spain (Andalusia, Extremadura) and Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.

Life in Seville would be much like life here! Teens go out and have fun at places you might think are fun too! They spend time at water parks, shop, go to concerts, festivals, dancing, markets.

Residence of generations of kings and caliphs, the Alcázar de Sevilla was originally founded as a fort for the Cordoban governors of Seville in 913.When you visit this city, you are in the very heart of Andalusian culture, the center of bullfighting and Flamenco music. Make yourself time and take life easy, as Andalucians use to do, and interrupt sightseeing from time to time to have a few 'tapas', typical 'small spanish dishes', and a glass of Sherry wine in one of the thousands of bars in this city.

Legends say that Seville was founded by Hercules. During the 8th century BC their descents created a city on the shores of the Guadalgulvir and named it Ispal. It would later be called Hispallis, and considered origin of Seville. From the 3rd century BC, the latharginians occupied the area but were defeated by the Romans. Seville entered an age of splendor. During this period, various invasions took place. Vandals later dominated Seville during the 6th & 7th centuries. This is when Seville became the most important cultural area in ancient times.
