  • The Shang lived in the eastern part of China.
  • They lived near the coast of the Yellow Sea.
  • Which gave them access to the water for agriculture.
  • The water also gave them a great source of food and water.

  • Sculpting in bronze,jade,and gold.
  • They also built tools out of bones and wood.
  • The Shang invented the pottery wheel.

WHO IS FUHAO?

  • Fuhao, was the first woman recorded in Chinese history.
  • She comanded an army of 10,000 soldiers.
  • During the Shang Dynasty.

RELIGION

  • All classes had one thing in common,
  • They all believed in the same religion.
  • The people were polytheistic.
  • Meaning they worshiped many gods.
  • Ancestor worship was important to the shang.
