Working

Even though the men did all of the hunting and fishing,the wemon still cooked and managed the garden.

Celebrational dances

Because the fall was coming,the Shawnee did the bread dance.

Rather then the Shawnee tribe fishing with fishing rods, they fished with nets and spears.

Unless the wemon were sick,they normally made bead work and made clothing. .(jewelry)

Foot wear

Whether it was hot or cold, the  tribe always wore moccasins.

Economic stability

As the tribes grew population increased so did the trading market.

Fears

The Shawnee tribe did not have any fears ,nor did they have any taboos.

Family

The parents lived with their children ,but the grandparents normally lived alone

Clothing

  • Some tribe members wore bright painted clothes, but others wore plain ponchos.B
  • Bits of shells and porcupine quills provided decorations, s their clothes were very nice looking

Ceromonies

  • Being buried lasted 7 days, for all of the bodies to be collected for the ceremonial funerals
  • Because the Shawnee boy turned 13, the wemon circled around him determining his children's fate

Housing and dishes

  • The Shawnee didn't live in tee-pees, and huts they lived in wigwams
  • The Shawnee wemon used clay; mud to make plates and cups
