WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Are often placed in conflict situations with angry, unpleasant people. Always wear a uniform. Must be sure that all details are done and their work is exact. Errors could have serious consequences for the health and safety of the public, suspects, and other officers. Are usually scheduled to work a 40-hour week, but often work overtime

PREPARATION

  • High school diploma
  • Complete police academy
