• First designed in China 3rd century BC then brought to Eroupe in the 4th century AD
• Seige weapon is a device used to break down castle walls
• First 2 to use siege weapons were Phillip II of Macedonia and Aexander the great

What's new ?
The siege weapons were most popular in war in there time until gunpowder was made (9th century). After that traditional methods became less and less effective against a determined siege.
