Sikhism started in the mid-1400s in Northwest India (Punjab)

Independent religion that flourished from the teachings of Guru Nanak.(founder) The rumor in their religion is that his teachings were given to him by God himself.

The Sikhs believe their god is a formless, all powerful, all loving being.

In Sikhism you can become unified with God by meditation, honest labor, and service to humanity.
