How to do the practise

  • Pray multiple times a day
  • Sikhs aren't allowed to worship idols, images, or icons.
  • A Sikh must not take hemp, opium, liquor, tobacco, or any intoxicant.
  • The goal is to create a close loving relasionship with God
  • Everyone is equal in Gods eyes
  • Their are over 2000 temples to worship

the 5 K's`

  • Kesa (long hair, which is never cut)
  • Kangah (comb)
  • Kacha (short pants)
  • Kara (metal bracelet)
  • Kirpan (a ceremonial dagger)

Names
"Singh" which means "lion." Women have the name of "Kaur" which means "princess."most men's middle names is Singh.

  • There is only one god
  • Has no gender or form
  • Everyone has access to thier God
  • Everyone is equal to their God
  • To have a good life you should do good deeds and meditate their God
  • Is fearless, the creator, without hate,
  • Name is Truth

  • It is the newest religion
  • It was founded 500 years ago
  • Over 20 million follow it
  • It is ranked 5th largest religion in the world
  • The word "Sikh" means "disipline" in Punjab
