PHYSICAL PROPERTIES

  • Silver is a metal (again, duh).
  • It has the highest conductive ability of any metal.
  • Silver is a solid.
  • It is a soft, white, lustrous transition metal.

CHEMICAL PROPERTIES:

  • Silver does not react in pure water.
  • It also has no flammability as a solid.

GOOD TO KNOW:

  • Silver can be found in many areas of N.america and Europe.
  • Silver is a part of element group 11, along with transitional metals likecopper and gold.
