  • Columbia, Panama, Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia.

WHY DID VENEZUALA WANT INDEPENDENCE?

  • Napolean invaded spain
  • This left spanish territory unsettled
  • Venezuela wanted thier land back

SIMONS BIGGEST CONTRIBUTIONS:

  • fought spain for independence of Venezuela and many other countries
  • Liberated 6 leaders from spanish rule
  • joined and became a leader of the Patriotic Society of Caracas
  • appointed head of a diplomatic mission to London.
  • provided certain limited incentives to the Indians and black slaves
