FLORIDA SINK HOLE LAWS
For a long time, homes in Florida were required to be covered for sink hole damage. Since 2011, an insurance company has to offer sink hole insurance. With new laws regarding sink hole damage, home that are in high risk areas can easily be denied insurance for sink holes. Home builders are not required to tell home buyers that their new home is built on a sink hole.
