SIR GAWAIN AND THE GREEN KNIGHT

BASIC SETTING

• It was new year's eve
• King Arthur and nobles were having party
• Seemed like nothing would happen

SURPRISE GUEST

• Someone just got into king Arthur's party without noticing
• He was green
• King Arthur asked him to join in the party.
• The green knight denies and asked him to play beheading game.
• After he listened to the rules, Arthur was going to play the game.

SIR GAWAIN

• But sir gawain, nephew of the king Arthur ceased him.
• Than he accepts the game instead
• He slashed the head
• But the body picked up the head than told Sir gawain to remember the promise

NEXT YEAR

• Sir gawain leaves to the green church
• He rests at the castle of Bertilak
• At the nights, lady Bertilak came to his bed and seduced him.

• First night, the Lady kissed Sir Gawain so he kisses to the Bertilak next day
• Second night, Lady kissed twice Sir Gawain
• so he kisses to the Bertilak next day
• On third night, Sir gawain recieves three kisses and the green belt
• From the Lady, but he only returned three kisses to. Bertilak.

AT THE GREEN CHURCH

• Sir gawain finally went to the church
• As the green knight waiting there, Sir Gawain let his neck opened
• The green knight slashed but it did not kill him
• The green knight told Sir Gawain that it was Bertilak,
• And he became the green knight because he was curses by a magician.
