Setting is a time and place where the story takes place.
Place, time, weather conditions, social conditions, and mood or atmosphere.

There are many different types of characters.
Round characters- are relatable to what you would expect of actual human beings.
Flat characters- they have personalities that are briefly described.
Dynamic- they have many sides that change through out the story.
Static- these characters have one or two characteristics that never change but are emphasized.

Protagonist is the main character.

Exposition is the introduction to the story.
Rising action is an incident that builds a conflict.
Climax is when the conflict is at its highest point.
