SLAVERY

CAUSE OF SLAVERY

• People don't know when or why slavery occurred
• The date goes back to the egyption pharohs
• They used to use the slaves for building things
• Soon other countries began buying slaves
• Then some sailors came and captured the american indians

EFFECT OF SLAVERY

• The sailors use the captured people as slaves
• Soon having a slave was very popular
• Soon people all over the world had slaves for them
• Millions of africans were imported to all over the world
• Soon people were departing from their families to work for others

WHAT HAPPENED

• Lincoln passed out a law to abolish slavery in 1865
• The 13th amendment stated that slavery be abolished
• This stopped people from getting slaves in the future

In conclusion, people should not have gotten slaves because all this chaos happened. A lot of people lost their families and lives. But Lincoln understood what was happening and made a stop to it. A lot of people still had slaves but soon let them go.

GANDHI

• Gandhi was born on October 2, 1869
• He fought for the freedom for India from the British
• HIs impact was he showed the people the way to freedom
• He was a great person who spoke against fighting and gave India freedom
