- Poxvirus called variola
- Variola is a large virus, has double stranded DNA
- Virus found in very large numbers

SYMPOTOMS
- High fever
- Body aches to unwell to get out of bed
- Rash (legs, arms, mouth, face, palms, and soles)
- Blindness and scars among survivors
- Lessions filled with blood

- Blisters/cold sores on ankles, hands, palms, etc.
- Diarrhea
- Constant vomiting
- Headaches

- Affects skincells (scaring them)
- Immune system (destroying it)
- Circulatory system (destroying the cycle)
