CauseES

  • Poxvirus called variola
  • Variola is a large virus, has double stranded DNA
  • Virus found in very large numbers

SYMPOTOMS

  • High fever
  • Body aches to unwell to get out of bed
  • Rash (legs, arms, mouth, face, palms, and soles)
  • Blindness and scars among survivors
  • Lessions filled with blood

SYMPTOMS CONTINUED

  • Blisters/cold sores on ankles, hands, palms, etc.
  • Diarrhea
  • Constant vomiting
  • Headaches

EFFECT ON THE BODY

  • Affects skincells (scaring them)
  • Immune system (destroying it)
  • Circulatory system (destroying the cycle)
