  • In the teaching learning process of speaking mistakes are tolerated
  • Emphasis is on content not structure

  • Organize properly, and strictly observe the initial stages of the teaching process—this includes choice and play of music, as well as punctuality.

Presentation

  • The main aim at this stage is to help students relax and move into a positive frame of mind, with the feeling that the learning is going to be easy and fun.

Ritualistic Concert Sessions

First Concert

  • Involves the active presentation of the material to be learnt.
  • Typically long dialogues read aloud to students with the accompaniment of music and actions
  • Dialogues read with and without actions

Second Concert

  • Teacher makes use of dialogues for more conventional language work

  • Students given a copy of dialogue and read with the teacher with the incorporation of activities designed to help remember the meaning
