What is MERS?
Also known as the Middle East respiratory syndrome was recently found in Saudi Arabia and has killed about 11 people. Scientists say the MERS virus is linked to camels. Since Saudi Arabia is more of a desert place its easier to use an animal that can carry you across the desert than a car. So a lot of people use camels which makes the virus easy to spread.

"SAUDI ARABIA TO BUILD WORLD'S TALLEST TOWER, REACHING 1 KILOMETER INTO THE SKY"

What is this all about?
Saudi Arabia is planning to take the spotlight off of Dubai and shine it on them. Saudi Arabia will try to achieve the biggest building in the world. The building will be an estimated 3,280 feet tall which is very close to a mile which is 5280. This building will be made out of about 80 million pounds of steel and will cost an estimated 1.23 billion dollars and have 200 floors.

Why does this matter to the U.S.?
This matters to the U.S. because by the creation of this building it will create a lot of jobs and encourage other great building to spring up in America so it would create jobs here too. Since Saudi Arabia has had a recent graphic conflict with its people it would be good for them to show the world that they are one as a people and not divided. This building will also show other countries the strength of Saudi Arabia even though they have had a dark history they were able to pull themselves up and build one of the greatest buildings of all time.

How does this affect the U.S.?
This could expand are resources more to the Middle East if there were to be a conflict. Since the country is ready to burst at the seams to violence we might have to step in which might cause a war. Also if we step in we would have to pick a side and depending on if we win or lose it would be the outcome of our future relationship with Libya.
