  • Fighting in South Sudan between forces President Kirr and rebel troops.
  • This has caused thousands of deaths and a million people to flee homes.
  • It also has caused 5 mil people at risk for food shortages.
  • Even the UN has warned them.

ARTICLE 2: Police storm Uneb to protect Bukenya

  • Efforts by the current Uneb Board to replace Mr. Bukenya have proved futile.
  • IGG Irene Mulyagonja cancelled the recruitment exercise for his replacement.
  • Yesterday at the Uganda National Examinations Board offices in Kampala.
  • Police led by the commissioner Mr Grace Turyagumanawe, went to protect its embattled executive secretary.

COUNTRY 2: CZECH REPUBLIC

ARTICLE 1: Explosives found at Palestinian embassy in Prague

  • Czech police say they found explosives at the Palestinian mission in Prague.
  • They found it while they were investigating a New Years Day blast.
  • This blast had to do with a safe, it killed the ambassador.
  • The Palestinians apologized for the incidents after the CFM demanded an explanation.
  • The CFM also accused the Palestinians of breaching international obligations.

ARTICLE 2: Czechs pull plug on nuclear expansion

  • More than 5 yrs of intrigue ended with a whimper on April 10th.
  • CEZ canceled the expansion of the Temelin nuclear power plant.
  • The project was undone by a fall in electricity prices.
  • The price tag was estimated at about $15 billion.
  • The project made less sense as the price of electricity fell.
