Located in the Middle East, bordering Iraq and Saudi-Arabia.






Event one:
Violation of the right of freedom and expression.

In the March of this year Dar Al Wantan Printing and publishing company was force ably closed by Kuwait's government—including a withdraw led license and closing of premises. Violating international and Kuwaiti law. The company had been pressured not to be so critical of authorities, now the sister company Al Wantan TV fears their closure as well.

On March 18, Alkarama brought the problem to the eyes of the UN (United Nations) special Repportuer on the promotion of right to free opinion and expression.

During the past year or so freedom of the press and expression has significantly changed for the worst.

Event two:
Youth Areeb Majeed left Baghdad with one thousand dollars, from Kuwait national,and joined ISIS.

After traveling to Iraq Areeb Majeed purchased a SIM card then contacted Afghan national Rahman Dawlaty asking for money. They then asked him to get in touch with Kuwait national after talking on a instant message app, then got the $1K.
