  • It's good for the economy.
  • It offers platforms for teachers to collaborate with other teachers and communicate with students outside of the classroom.
  • Colleges and universities use social media to recruit new students.

  • Social media causes people to have less face-to-face interaction time
  • Social media harms employee productivity.
  • Social media promotes cyberbullying.
  • Users are vulnerable to security attacks including hacking, identity theft and viruses.
