COLD WAR

• Growing out of post-World War II tensions between the two nations, the Cold War rivalry between the United States and the Soviet Union that lasted for much of the second half of the 20th century resulted in mutual suspicions, heightened tensions and a series of international incidents that brought the world’s superpowers to the brink of disaster.

ORANGEBURG MASSACRE

• Started at a bowling alley after the civil rights movement
• Three days long and it didn't even end at the bowling alley
• Three men were killed and twenty-eight persons were injured

SAVANNAH RIVER NUCLEAR PLANT

• The plant was just a power plant to the people but we actually think there were nuclear bombs being made

BABY BOOM

• A baby boom is any period marked by a greatly increased birth rate.

• White flight is a term that originated in the United States
• Its was when alot or white migration happened
