HOW SOFT DRINKS AFFECTS THE ADOLESCENT BRAIN

  • Scientists are discovering that soda affects the developing brain the most.
  • Soda can really affect your memory sometimes.
  • You can damage the brain as much as Alzheimer's disease.
  • Teens drink more pop than they eat any other food.
  • In adolescents the glucose from soda increases the cerebral blood flow.

HOW SOFT DRINKS AFFECT TEENAGE OBESITY

  • Research shows that soft drinks are the worst offender in child obesity.
  • Soft drinks increase the odds of obesity more than greasy foods.
  • If you drink 2 cans of soda a day you can gain more than 2 1/2lbs a month.
  • In the course of that year you could gain 30lbs just by drinking soda.
  • To loose weight a good place to start is to not drink soft drinks at all.

HOW SOFT DRINKS AFFECT ADOLESCENTS TEETH

  • Soft drinks have emerged as one of the most significant source of tooth decay.
  • Soft drinks soften the tooth enamel and that helps lead to cavities.
  • Diet soft drinks aren't as harmful but they can still hurt the adolescents teeth.
  • To help prevent hurting or killing ur teeth just substitute the soft drinks with water.
