The rules of softball.

  • No leading off before the pitch is pitched
  • If your foot is out of the batters box your out.
  • If you bunt when you have 2 strikes and it goes foul your out
  • If the runner runs into the player the batter is out.
  • If the player runs into you then you get to advance a base.

THE RULES OF PITCHING

  • You must start with both feet on the mound
  • One foot always has to on the ground in your wind-up
  • You cant purposely hit someone.
  • You have to stay in the circle

bALLS AND STRICKS

  • If the pitch is called a ball that means it was not in the strike zone
  • If it was call a strike then it was close to the plate.
  • If the ball is high to low or outside or inside it will be called a ball.
  • If the ball is near the plat it will be called a strike.

How to catch

  • A catcher is a very important player.
  • the catcher has to catch all the pitchers pitches
  • If your playing 12u then the runners can steel home
  • You have to block the balls so it doesnt get by so they cant come home.

THE RULES OR HITTING

  • If you are left then you stand on the left side and you hit from there.
  • If you are righty then you stand on the right side and swing from there.
  • If you're a switch hitter then you can be righty or lefty.
  • If you hit from outside the batter's box you're out.
  • If the ball hits you and you are out of the batters box your out.

foul balls

  • If the ball goes outside the white line its foul and they catch it your out
  • If the ball goes straight back then its fould.
  • If the ball pops up and it goes higher than your 
  • head and the catcher catches it you out.
  • If goes out of the field its a fould ball.
