SOLAR ECLIPSE

HOW THE MOON CAN BLOCK THE SUN

What is a solar eclipse?
When the moon passes between the sun and earth and the moon blocks the sun so the sunlight doesn't come to earth and the moon looks like a black ball on the sky

Why does it happens rarely?
If the moon were in a prefect circular orbit and a little closer to earth there would be total solar eclipses every single month

How popular is it to look at solar eclipses?
People can get tickets so they can go on holidays when they go around the world and watch all the solar eclipses.

HOW IT LOOKS LIKE

A TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE

How it affect the animals
The animals do not understand what us going on so they think it is night so they start to sleep but when the eclipse is over it gets light again so they wake up again, so it could be a little bit confusing for them.

What is dangerous white it?
Looking directly at it can lead to blindness or permanent eye damage. Special eye protection or indirect viewing techniques are used when viewing a solar eclipse

Is it a natural-phenomenon?
A solar eclipse does not effect the greenhouse effect, global warming, acid rain or anything it is all by the nature it self

The historical eclipse
For hundreds of years ago we didn't had technology so when it was a solar eclipse the was scared because the thought the evil spirits was punished them for all the bad things the been done and they did get lots of injuries in the eyes but today we have the technology for watching them

The satellites
The satellites are always filming in space all time so in the space it never gets to dark to film because of the flash on the satellites so we can watch from out of space and the seen from earth
