HOW SOLAR POWER WORKS
When you have a solar panel, it collects the sun's radiance during the day.
As the panels collects the suns rays , they convert them into Direct Current (DC) electricity.
The DC power is then sent to an inverter which converts that power into Alternating Current (AC) electricity.
The AC is then fed to a wiring system where it will power lights, appliances, and other electricity.

HOW SOLAR POWER CAN BE USED AND EXAMPLES OF ITS CURRENT USE
One way solar power can be used is heating your home by using sun-heated tubes of water on your roof and pumping it into your water heater.
Another way is heating your swimming pool by just adding a solar blanket.
Example of current use: Harnessed to pump water in remote areas
Example of current use: Power TV and radio repeater stations
Example of current use: Generate electricity to your home.

5.
REASONS WHY SOLAR POWER IS NOT WIDELY ACCEPTED
Solar panels are expensive
Unwanted CO2 emissions are dumped into the atmosphere.
That translates into each typical home being responsible for 22,000 pounds of CO2 emissions.
Only last in the daylight
If there is bad weather for a long time, it will only provide little electricity.
