WHY PICK SOLAR?

  • Solar power pannels are easy to buy and to install.
  • Solar is a convenient power source.
  • Once installed, it will continue to generate free electricity.
  • This means you can substantially reduce and possibly eliminate your bills.

ADVANTAGES OF SOLAR POWER.

  • Solar energy is free, although there is a cost of the building of the pannels.
  • Solar energy doesn't cause pollution.
  • Can be used in remote areas.
  • Everyday items such as calculators and low powered devices can be powered by Solar
  • Its estimated that the worlds oil reserve with last of 30yrs, while solar energy is infinite.

DISADVANTAGES OF SOLAR POWER.

  • Solar energy can only be collected when its daytime and sunny.
  • Solar pannels, collectors and cells are very expensive to manufature.
  • In the UK, the unreliable climate means that solar is very unreliable.
  • Large areas of land are required to capture the suns energy.

WHERE IS SOLAR OPERATING?

  • Germany has the most solar power running.
  • Italy is ranked 2nd and China ranked 3rd
  • Australia is ranked 9th in the world for solar usage.
