PLANETS

  • They are special bodies which revolve around the Sun
  • The inner planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars.
  • They are made of rocks.
  • The outer planets are Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune.
  • They are made of gases

DWARF PLANETS

  • They are spherical bodies which orbit the sun.
  • They are smaller than the other planets.
  • Example:
  • Pluto

SATELLITES
