Theme:
"Like I'm Gonna Lose You" expresses what you feel like when you fear a loved one has died. Nothing last forever so we should make the best of it while we have it.

The speaker is a loved one that has a nightmare that someone they care about dies, you wake up all of a sudden and check to make sure that everything is ok.

The tone is portrayed through mellow and meaningful lyrics, while the instruments are played in a softer manner.

The musical tempo for "like I'm gonna lose you" is adagio (moderately slow)

Alone and Goodbye- these are negative connotations, they symbolize you have lost someone.
