The Sons Of Liberty was an organization of American Colonists that was created in the 13 American colonies. The secret society was formed to protect the rights of colonists and fight taxation by the British Government. They played a major role in battling the Stamp Act.
The Daughters of Liberty were a successful colonial group, established in the year of 1765, that consisted of women who deplaned their loyalty by participating in boycotts of British goods following the passage of the Townshen acts.
