• Bethany Hamilton got bit by the tiger shark.
• She has to survive with one arm.
• The shark took a major part of her life, by biting off her whole arm.

RISING ACTION

• Bethany was not depressed like any other person losing an arm because she was playing around in the hospital the day after the attack.
• Friends visited her and she got tons of gifts.
• Bethany wanted to get back in shape so she began working out to train for surfing.
• When Bethany could not surf she was riding horses with Alana,and Natalie.

CLIMAX

• Bethany fights to get back on the board.
• She gets back on her board,after wanting to for a long time.
• Everyone is happy for her.
• She was working out for this and now she finally can.

FALLING ACTION

• Bethany won a lot of surfing competitions. She finished in the finals of the national championship.
• She is getting stronger every day with just one arm.
• And is now homeschooled.

RESOLUTION

• Bethany gets very famous with her bad injury.
• She is still surfing, and moving on in life day by day.
• She is now a sophomore in high school.
• Hoping to be an actress or do pro surfing.
