  • The rainforest is located on the northern half of South America
  • Countries in the rainforest are Brazil, Peru, Venezuela, Bolivia and Guyana
  • Climate in the rainforest is very humid and rainy all year round
  • There are so many plants in the rainforest that most haven't even been named yet

FACTS ABOUT THE AMAZON RAINFOREST

  • The Amazon river runs through the rainforest
  • The Amazon river holds 1/5 of the worlds river water
  • The Amazon Rainforest covers nearly 2 million square miles
  • Yearly average rainfall = 50 to 175 inches

  • The countries that are in the Pampas are Argentina and Uruguay
  • The Pampas are located on the southern half of South America
  • One of the main types of vegetation in the Pampas are Pampas Grass
  • During the summer it's mostly dry with a lot of humidity
