  • The major languages are Hindu,English and other local languages.

GOVERNMENT

  • There are two different types of government, Communist and Democratic.
  • Regions that are democratic have the ability to vote for their leader.

RELIGIONS

  • The main religion is Hinduism.
  • Hindus worship many different types of their god.

RURAL/URBAN

  • South Asia is rural, & people live on the countryside.
  • Their houses are made of wood and grass.
  • The houses look like a mix between a hut and a cabin.

FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS

  • Families in South Asia are large.
  • Most of the time the grandparents live with the families.

SOCIAL STRUCTURE

  • The social structure in South Asia is
  • Higher class
  • Medium class
  • And Lower class. They also go by the Caste system.
  • And it is concentrated in areas around South Asia

FASHION, LITERATURE AND ART

  • Modern clothes besides the traditional clothing.
  • Their arts are based on their history and religions.

EDUCATION

  • They educate their young gratefully
  • They learn basic skills.
  • Ex- reading, art, math & science

LAND USE

  • They use their land for manufacturing and livestock.

TRADING NETWORKS

  • They exchange fresh produce & food with surrounding countries.

DIVERSITY GROUP

  • The main diversity groups are Asian and Indian.
  • Men are treated better than women, giving them a higher power.
