CHARACTERISTICS
This species is classified as on of the smallest tigers out there in the wild
The South China tigers are being moved to other areas of captivity because they are very endangered.
There stripes are bigger than other tigers
The South China tiger is in the top 10 endangered animals of the world

ADAPTATIONS
Perhaps the most obvious is the sun makes stripes shadows of the stripes just like the tiger
Tigers need to live in areas with dense vegetation access to water and prey
The camouflage makes it hard for prey to catch them
There claws are large teeth help them hunt in the wild

The South China tiger is located in China Nanchang Yihuang

ECOSYSTEM
The south china tiger is subspecies that historically ecosystem was SouthEastern China
South China tigers live in places like mountain evergreen forests, thick damp tropical forests and rocky mountains
Some other animals that live there are the leopard, woodpecker, great barbet and more
The scientific names are Gecinulus grantia, Panthera pardus and more

THREATS
Humans are tigers archenemy the most significant predator and a threat to the tigers
The Forest fragments are surrounded by rapidly cutting down the forest. Without wilderness, the tigers will not survive
Pollution from chemical fertilizers poisons the tigers
Heriditary diseases appear in captive bred tigers caused by inbreeding
Genetic inbreeding to tigers is bad because they will have the same jeans and its good to have different jeans because it want effect all tigers

PROTECTION
Some efforts to protect tigers habitat have focused on programs and a few programs have been successful
In September 2003 two South China tigers were sent to the reserve from a Chinese zoo
They did training projects the goal whichis to release the big cats which is the South China tiger back into their natural habitat

HOW I WOULD KEEP THE SOUTH CHINA TIGER FROM GETTING EXTINCT
I would catch them and then put them put them into a secured observatory and people could see them
I would give them there meat and water give them baths and a male and female in the observatory and they will have babies and there would be more
