CASPIAN SEA

  • It's the largest sea in the world.
  • It consists of three distinct basins.
  • It has no outflows.
  • It's a remnant of the ancient Paratethys Sea.

ANANTOLIA

  • It's bounded by the Black Sea to the North.
  • It's also bounded by the. Mediterranean Sea to the South.
  • Anatolia is considered to extend in the east to an indefinite line.
  • It's located between the Pontic and Taurus Mountain Ranges.

EUPHRATES RIVER

  • It's the longest river of Western Asia.
  • It's one of the two defining rivers of Mesopotamia.
  • It emerges from the confluence of the Eastern and Western Euphrates.
  • It receives most of its water from rainfall and melted snow.

ZAGROS MOUNTAINS

  • They from the largest mountain range in Iran and Iraq.
  • They span the whole length of the western and south western Iranian Plateau.
