ROCKETS

  • They have big motion made by hot gases and fuel.
  • The purpose is to get a ship to go up to space and to return in a save way.
  • This rockets are usually used to transport people and provide them shelter.
  • Rockets use the theory of Isaac Newton which is the third law of motion.
  • That is to say that whenever an object pushes another object it gets pushed back in the opposite direction

SHUTTLES

  • Shuttles also use the theory of action and reaction.
  • Space shuttles carry their own oxygen, now that there is no oxygen in space.
  • The purpose of this shuttle is not only to transport humans but satellites too.
  • Shuttles were used to take up materials to built the international space center.
  • Shuttles also worked as labs. Astronauts did their expirement in the shuttle.

PROBES

  • Probes are used for exploring space.
  • It will orbit or land on other planets.
  • Takes pictures and videos of planetary bodies.
  • It's purpose to explore space, take pictures and collect data.
  • It is also used as a camera for astronauts in outer space.

ROVERS

  • A rover is vehicle designed to move around other planetary bodies.
  • It is used to explore the land and to take pictures of its geography.
  • Rovers can be made to transport humans along the moon or in other celestial bodies.
  • This vehicle is made to find information and it can even collect dust and rocks.
  • Sojourner is the name of the fist rover that succefuly landed on another planet.

SPACE TELESCOPES

  • Space telescopes are used to look very closely at the planets and its orbits.
  • The world most famous telescope is the Hubbles telescope.
  • Galileo Galilei was the first astronomer to use a telescope.
  • Galileo had his first solid prove that the solar system was a heliocentric solar system by looking at jupiters moons.
  • Telescopes are also used to look at constellations and far away galaxies.
