Ask
Can we make a bridge that is the longest and strongest free standing bridge

Background
The science behind the spaghetti bridge is architecture its has to include B.A.T.S. Not the fury kind B=beams A=arches T=trusses and S=suspensions. You also have to have flexibility and stability because it absorbs the force of an earth quake

MATERIALS

  • Ruler/tape measurer
  • Scissors,tape and glue
  • One box of spaghetti
  • Textbooks as end supports

This our design for our bridge. The yellow is the noodles, the grey is tape, the glue is red, and the black is the text books

Improve
I was successful in bridge building because I used popsicle sticks as supports to help the foundation of the bridge. But one thing That was a flaw and I would change in the future is if I used less tape

Real-Life Connection
After Pangea we needed some way of getting across we had planes, cars, and boats. But there has to be a easier way, Bridges there long, flexible, and strong there perfect. People, police, fireman, and cars could easily drive across a bridge and get were they want to go far away, faster.
