  • Takes place March 19
  • Also known as st. Joesphs day
  • A religious holidaynest scene in tamulin, San Luis Potosí

DIA DA PASCUA

  • Takes place between the end of March or the begining of April
  • Also known as easter
  • Celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus Christ

TODOS LOS SANTOS

  • Takes pace November 1
  • Also known as all Saints day
  • Honor of of all of the saints known and unknown
  • Holiday mainly celebrated in Spain

TOMA TINA IS MY FAVORITE FESTIVAL

  • It started in the 50's
  • Young men brung tomatoes to a parade
  • The police broke up the tomatoe throwing early
  • The next year more people brung tomatos and threw them
  • 10 years later it became a tradition

Navidad is my favorite festival because they celebrate Christmas for the same reason we Americans do. To celebrate the birth of Jesus. They sing songs and go caroling, also decorate tall buildings with hundreds of lights and blast music.
