Where was he born?

Spartacus was born in Thrace in 109 B.C. and died in 71 B.C

Where did he grow up?

Spartacus was a Thracian gladiator, little is known about his life before he became one of the slave leaders in the Third Servile War. It is generally believed he deserted, and some sources say he led bandit raids. What is known is that he was captured and sold into slavery.

Is he related to any famous Romans?

No he was not!!!

What is he best known for?

Spartacus was known for leading the slaves in to the Third Servile War, a slave uprising against the Roman Republic. His rebellion was proven inspirational to many modern literary and political writers, making him a hero among cultures both ancient and modern.
