  • Taste/ smell
  • Balance

EYES

  • Organ of vision
  • Convert light in electrochemical impulses in neurons
  • Helps see
  • Complex optical system
  • Transmits signals to the brain

EAR

  • Organ for hearing
  • Cochlea vibrates to sound
  • Sends signals to the brain
  • The labyrinth sends signals to balance the body
  • If cochlea follicles die you will be unable to hear

Nose

  • Structure for breathing
  • Part of the body for smell
  • Important for health
  • Filters the air you breath
  • Warms your air going into your lungs

GENERAL SENSE RECEPTORS

  • Hot and cold
  • Touch
  • Pressure
  • Pain
  • Perception
