Motion is included in physical science because it applys to everything around us. When you drop your pencil on the floor, or scoot your chair back, ride a bike, it's all motion. Everything any person or object does is because of motion. Based on gravity, things fall or slide at different speeds, like the constant waves at beaches move back and forth, and surfers follow that motion. All movement is motion.
