HELLO, MY NAME IS HENRY.
I AM AN OBSIDIAN ROCK WHICH IS MADE BY QUICK, COOLING MAGMA.

I was born in a volcano in Hawaii, on October 7, 2000.
I was made by cooling magma.
I am a glassy black rock which
has a vesicular texture .

I AM AN EXTRUSIVE IGNEOUS ROCK.
I am made when magma cools on earth's surface.
After years of being an igneous rock,I slowly start to breakdown due to rain.
Once I am small enough, I am packed with other kinds of rocks. I became a sedimentary rock on December 9, 2004.

I then become Shale, a clastic sedimentary rock.
I consist of clay-sized particles that are cemented and compacted together flatly.

One day I was sitting around the volcano and a scientist picks me up and takes me to his lab.
After passing a series of tests, I was sold to a museum.
ON THE WAY TO THE MUSEUM
ON MY JOURNEY TO THE MUSEUM I FELL OUT OF THE TRUCK AND INTO THE WILDERNESS.

A kid named Joseph found me and took me home to his father, who is a scientist.
I am then placed out in sun in the summer time. I start to get very warm. The heat and pressure of the sun turn me into a metamorphic rock on July 13, 2011.

I am a rock called marble, which is in the non-foliated rock family. Once the scientist sees me he gives me to a construction team, who will use me for building materials on November 15, 2014.
