TENDONITIS

  • medical : a painful condition in which a tendon in your arm, leg, etc., becomes inflamed

CONTUSION

  • medical : an injury that usually does not break the skin bruise

COMMINUTED FRACTURE

GREENSTICK FRACTURE

  • greenstick fracture one in which one side of a bone is broken, the other being bent.

SPIRAL FRACTURE

  • spiral fracture one in which the bone has been twisted apart.

TRANSVERSE FRACTURE

  • Transverse. The break is in a straight line across the bone.

COMPOUND FRACTURE

  • is an injury that occurs when there is a break in the skin around a broken bone.

COMPRESSION FRACTURE

  • Compression fractures of the back are broken vertebrae. Vertabrae are the bones of the spine.
