They protect theirselves from their enemies?
Our ancestors have felt the need to protect themselves from wild animals and bad weather. The first shelters were the caves. The caves they chose were high enough to protect them from wild animals that roamed. These caves sheltered them from rain during rainy season and heat during hot days.
