Her grew up in. Roth Africa with his mom, dad, and 2 siblings
His mother St. Monica, raised Augustine in a Christian household
When he grew up, he moved away to study the art of public speaking/law
He then immersed himself in Manichaeism, then in scepticism, and then in Neo-Platonism

Augustine finally became convinced that Christianity was the one true religion
he picked up the book of the Letters of St. Paul, and read the first passage
St. Paul says to put away all impurity and to live in imitation of Jesus
From then on, St. Augustine started a new life
