WHY I CHOSE ST.ROSE OF LIMA

  • I chose St. Rose of Lima as my Saint name because of her dedication to her faith. She was dedicated to her faith because when she was shunned by her parents for her vow of chastity she continued and didn't give in. She was known for her beauty so many men where attracted to her. To avoid attraction she cut her hair, marred her face and made it blister. The only thing that was important part in her life was God and serving him. She helps set a great example of how to sever God and to see past the material things like Physical beauty.

WHY I CHOSE ST. ROSE OF LIMA CONT.

  • I look up to her as a role model and give me a sense of how I would like to live my spiritual life. That is why I chose this Saint for confirmation.

HOW WILL IMITATE HER IN MY LIFE?

  • I plan to look at things in a different way just like she did not about the beauty of somthing or how it looks or material thin
  • Less electronic and material things that could distract you by giving them up for just an hour.
