What happens to your body.

  • Your body uses stored glucose as a reserve. That can last you up to 48 hours.
  • Your body will be put into a state of Ketosis. Which involves elevated levels of Kenton bodies in your system.
  • After the third day without food, your brain starts using Kenton bodies as an energy source – it gets about 30% energy in this way. On the fourth day, the brain will get up to 70% energy from the Kenton bodies.
  • Eventually you will become so skinny and hungry that you will die.
