  • What is its nature (definition)?
  • What is its quality or cause (evaluation/causal)?
  • What actions should be taken (proposal)?

  • Are they reliable?
  • Is there a problem with the facts?

  • What is its nature?
  • Types: formal, operational, informal (example)

  • Formal: dictionary, scientific
  • Class plus features or distinguishing criteria
  • E.g. hybrid car: a passenger vehicle (class) that can operate using two or more sources of power, separate or in combination (distinguishing criteria).
