PRESENTATION OUTLINE

SOLID, LIQUID, AND GAS

Solid: A solid is a state of matter which molecules are tightly packed together below a certain temperature.

EXAMPLE:

ICE CUBES

EXAMPLE:

A ROCK

EXAMPLE:

A BASKETBALL

This is the molecules of a solid

Liquids: A liquid is a state of matter and does not have a definite shape and is only a liquid below and above a certain temperature.

EXAMPLE:

WATER

EXAMPLE:

RAIN

EXAMPLE:

LIQUID MOLECULES

Gas: A gas is a state of matter which has no definite shape of volume and the molecules are very spread over a certain temperature unlike the liquid and solid.
