What are the states of matter?

The three states of matter are solid, liquid and gas

SOLID

  • The partials in a solid are close together and nice order

LIQUID

  • The partials in a liquid are more apart than a solid so that means they can move around a bit more

GAS

  • The partials in a gas are spread apart a lot so they can move the shape of container they are in
