  • Transmitted through sexual contact with male or female genitilia

  • Bacterial
  • 75% of cases are people between 15-24 years old
  • Predicted that less than half of annual cases are actually reported
  • Transmitted by Sexual contact

SYPHILIS

  • Bacterial
  • There are different stages of symptoms
  • Can have serious implications if left untreated
  • Spread by contact with a sore during sex

HERPES

  • Viral
  • Most people who have it do not realize it
  • Fluids inside the sores carry the virus
  • Transmitted by having sex with someone infected

BACTERIAL VAGINOSIS

  • Bacterial
  • the most common vaginal infection in women ages 15-44.
  • BV is not an STD but it increases the chances of obtaining one
  • Transmitted by Douching and Sexual activity
